President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo of Equatorial Guinea has bestowed the Great Collar of Independence Award on President Yoweri Museveni at the Presidential Palace in Malabo.
The award, the highest honour in Equatorial Guinea, is in recognition of President Museveni’s outstanding contribution to the African cause.
President Museveni arrived in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea capital, on Friday afternoon.
He is on a four-day state visit on invitation of His Excellency Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo
