The ‘Entertainment capital of East Africa’ Kampala, is set to hold two more extra big concerts, NBS TV’s UB40 featuring Ali Campbell concert and NTV Uganda’s ‘Timeless’ with Davido.
The two concerts are a testament of Uganda’s growth as a key destination for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events).
With Nyege Nyege becoming an annual signature event patronised from by tourists around the world. Blankets and Wine is another annual event which was oversubscribed over the weekend.
Prior, the team at NBS and Talent Africa, had announced The UB40 event featuring Ali Campbell concert, which was later postponed. The event had attracted both local and global interest which would have further catapulted Uganda’s MICE credentials as the end-of-year festive season builds up.
Despite the few hiccups the organizers have faced, they have promised new dates for the concert.
