The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has released its 2025-26 political and electoral roadmap.
The NRM Secretary-General, Richard Todwong said the program will begin on April 24 with the expression of interest and nomination for party structure elections at the village level and LC1 Chairpersons.
The Joint campaign for MPs, LCV, Councilors, Lord Councilors, Municipal and Division Mayors will commence on July 1.
Polling day for members of Parliament will take place on July 16. The party will handle disputes and conflict resolutions, possible re-runs and residual elections from July 17-September 15. In the same period, the NRM SG will endorse the party flag bearers.
The party will carry out primaries for MPs to the East African Legislative Assembly from August 20-24.
They will elect the presidential candidate and CEC Members in the period of August 15-25.
Todwong called on Party members to be very observant of the dates proposed for all the Party activities.
