Uganda has started its 2023 Netball World Cup campaign by beating Singapore 79-37 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The National Netball Team, She Cranes, won their first game, showing a promising start.

She Cranes played against Singapore at the 2013 Nations Cup and 2015 Netball World Cup warm-up game winning both 60-32 and 39-18, respectively.

Tomorrow, Uganda will play against defending champions New Zealand.

This is the fourth appearance for the Ugandan netball team and the third World Cup appearance in a row.

They finished seventh at the 2019 edition in Liverpool, England.
