The glittering grand finale of Miss Tourism Uganda 2025/26 at Serena Kampala on Friday night crowned Nachap Kezia Cindy from Karamoja as the new Miss Tourism Uganda 2025, in a colourful celebration of Uganda’s beauty, culture, and heritage.
Kezia takes over from outgoing queen Bianka Lucky and will now serve as Uganda’s cultural and tourism ambassador for the year ahead. The first runner-up title went to Amusolo Pauline Leizel, while Akere Gabriella M was crowned second runner-up.

A Night of Culture, Colour, and Purpose
The Serena Kampala finale was a vibrant showcase of talent, tradition, and tourism, featuring cultural performances, fashion exhibitions rooted in Ugandan heritage, and inspiring messages from leaders and partners in the tourism sector.

Key dignitaries included Hon. Evelyn Anite Kajik, State Minister of Finance for Investment and Privatisation, and Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro, Minister of State for Minerals, alongside tourism stakeholders such as the Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Wildlife Authority, and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA).
Liberty Uganda Managing Director Peter Makhanu reaffirmed the company’s partnership with the Miss Tourism Foundation, emphasising empowerment, sustainability, and youth leadership. He also presented the Miss Congeniality award, celebrating kindness, teamwork, and character among contestants.

Queens and Kings Take on New Roles
As Miss Tourism Uganda 2025, Nachap Kezia Cindy pledged to champion Uganda’s cultural heritage and tourism potential, echoing the pageant’s theme of using beauty and talent for national transformation.
Other titleholders, such as Karungi Bridget (Miss Conservation Uganda 2025) and Ahebwomugisha Anna (Miss Tourism Uganda Heritage 2025), vowed to use their platforms to promote conservation, culture, and community development.

“I pledge to make Uganda proud, promote our rich cultural heritage, and contribute positively to our nation’s growth,” said Ahebwomugisha in a heartfelt statement of gratitude to her supporters.
Tourism Kings
The event also saw the launch of the Men of Tourism International 2025/26 pageant, with King Isaac Amuriat making history as the first-ever Man of Tourism International winner, joined by King Emmanuel Assimwe (1st runner-up) and King Cohen Amanya (2nd runner-up).

Spotlight on Uganda’s Tourism Future
With both Miss Tourism Uganda and Man of Tourism International titleholders now in place, tourism leaders expressed confidence that the new ambassadors would raise Uganda’s profile on the global stage, telling the story of the Pearl of Africa with pride and passion.

The Uganda Tourism Board congratulated all winners, noting that this year’s event highlighted the transformative power of tourism, culture, and youth leadership in shaping Uganda’s image internationally.
