Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja on Thursday graduated with a Master of Arts Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation from Nkumba University in Entebbe.

The Prime Minister, who was also the Chief Guest at this event, said she has been equipped with more knowledge and skills to do her work.

She congratulated all the students who have graduated from this university and asked them to use their knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of our country.

At the same event, Hon. Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala, the Minister for Works and Transport, was awarded an honorary doctorate for his outstanding contribution to the country.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I am now Dr. Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala,” he said after receiving the Doctor of Letters Award.

“I am truly honoured to receive this award and deeply appreciate the recognition and the faith the university has shown in my work and contributions.”

More than 1,800 students graduated at the university’s 25th graduation ceremony.
