Kampala, Uganda – February 6, 2025: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will resume his Parish Development Model (PDM) Zonal Tours on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, with a visit to the Kigezi Sub-region.
The tour will include engagements with PDM farmers, a live media interaction, and a public rally, where the President is expected to discuss the progress and impact of the PDM programme in the region.
The PDM initiative, launched to boost household incomes and enhance wealth creation at the parish level, has been a key government strategy in tackling poverty, particularly in rural areas.
During the tour, the President will assess the effectiveness of the programme in Kigezi and engage with beneficiaries to understand their experiences and challenges.
