Museveni to Algerian Envoy: Buy Our Milk Instead of Importing it from Europe

President Museveni has met and held discussions with the Algerian Special Envoy and Foreign Affairs Minister, H.E Ramtane Lamamra.

The meeting took place Friday at his country home in Rwakitura, Kiruhura district.

Museveni said H.E Lamamra brought a special message and warm greetings from the President of Algeria, H.E Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the people of Uganda.

“We later discussed matters of mutual interest and cooperation in the areas of Trade, Agriculture and Security, among others.”

Museveni called for investment partnerships, especially in Agriculture.

“We have a lot of milk, so Algeria should stop importing it from Europe and buy it here,” Museveni suggested.
