President Museveni will today, Thursday, November 7, 2024, deliver an address to the nation, focusing on matters of national importance.
The address will be broadcast live across all television and radio channels starting at 8pm.
“We encourage all citizens to tune in for this significant socio-economic message,” said the Presidential Press Unit (PPU).
Meanwhile, Museveni will resume his performance assessment tours of the Parish Development Model (PDM) on 8th November 2024 starting from the Bukedi sub-region.
According to the Government Citizen Interaction Centre (GCIC), the overall gender balance responds well to the PDM objective of providing an opportunity for equitable participation in economic activities and development initiatives.
The percentage distribution of beneficiaries that borrowed PDM funds to invest shows that 42% of the beneficiaries borrowed to invest in crop farming followed by livestock at 39%, poultry at 17%, fish farming at 1%, and non-farming enterprises representing 2%.
