On Tuesday, President Museveni signed in a condolence book and expressed his sympathies to the people of UAE.

“I paid homage to H.E Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace,” Museveni said on his Twitter handle.

In the condolence book, Museveni said relations between UAE and Uganda have been growing and will continue to grow

“It is said that the late president died when he still had the capacity to contribute to his country at the age of 73. Nevertheless, the UAE is in the capable hands of the former Crown Prince who is now President.”
