President Museveni has arrived in Nairobi, Kenya for the 3rd East African Community (EAC) Heads of State Conclave on the peace and security situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The arrived in the Kenyan capital at 9:40am aboard the national carrier, Uganda Airlines.
South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit and Burundi leader Évariste Ndayishimiye also arrived shortly after for the EAC meeting.
Presidents Museveni and Kiir will hold a brief meeting at the airport.
The meeting follows a statement by Kenyan President H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and Chair of East African Community on the security situation in the Eastern DRC which aims to restore peace, security and stability for the well-being of all the population of the region.
