The Mungu Feni Foundation has launched its third cohort of garment cutting and tailoring training. With a mission to empower vulnerable individuals, particularly orphans, teenage mothers, and widows, the foundation provided essential skills to help them thrive in society.
At the launch event, Feni Benard, the organization’s CEO and founder, emphasized the transformative power of skilling. “Skills are the key to unlocking individual and community potential,” he said. “By equipping our participants with hands-on tailoring skills, we’re not only opening doors to self-reliance and entrepreneurship but also contributing to Uganda’s national development.”
The training program, now in its third year, has become a cornerstone of Mungu Feni Foundation’s initiatives.
The foundation believes that skilling projects like tailoring can significantly reduce unemployment, foster entrepreneurship, and empower vulnerable populations. By investing in these projects, the foundation is transforming lives and fueling economic growth and industrialization in Uganda.
For the 100 participants selected for the third cohort, the training marked the beginning of a journey toward hope, dignity, and a brighter future.
As the participants embarked on this new chapter, they carried with them the foundation’s message of hope and empowerment, ready to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
With this initiative, Mungu Feni Foundation continues to make a meaningful impact in the lives of orphans, teenage mothers, and widows, providing them with the skills and support needed to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
