Nakawa Division MP Michael Kabaziguruka is currently nursing injuries after getting involved in an accident on Sunday.
The incident happened on Jinja road around UMA Show Grounds.
The legislator was driving an ambulance he had pledged during the 2016 campaigns.
The ambulance registration number UAP 236P collided with a Hyundai, registration number UBA 083X.
He was reportedly responding to an emergency call from OC Mutungo.
The legislator suffered a double fracture in right leg and is currently receiving treatment at Kampala hospital.
