H.E Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, the President of Mozambique will be in Uganda for a three-day working visit starting Wednesday April 27, 2022.
Nyusi, who is also the current leader of FRELIMO, the party that has governed Mozambique since its independence from Portugal in 1975, will be accompanied by the First Lady of Mozambique Isaura Nyusi.
He will also bring along a government delegation.
They will later be hosted by President Museveni and the First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni at State House, Entebbe.
Mozambique evokes nostalgic memories for President Museveni personally.
In 1976, he led 28 FRONASA Youth in a training there at Montepuez Barracks.
Museveni was last in Mozambique in May 2018. He visited the legendary Montepuez Barracks where he led 28 FRONASA youth in training in 1976.
