The Minister of State for Planning, Amos Lugoloobi, has been arrested.
The minister was arrested Friday over the Karamoja iron sheets scandal.
He is currently detained at Kira Division Police Station.
He is expected to be produced in court on Monday.
According to reports, Lugoloobi was one of the beneficiaries of the iron sheets meant for the Karamoja region.
He used the iron sheets to roof an animal shed at his farm in Kayunga.
