A study by the International Dairy Federation (IDF) suggests that incorporating milk into school programs has numerous benefits, including enhanced cognitive development, improved academic performance, and better bone health.

These findings are supported by additional research emphasizing the importance of good nutrition for children’s health and wellness, with milk being a crucial component of a balanced diet.

The ministry of education has also called on parents to prioritize packing healthy snacks like milk, eggs, and porridge for their children.

To make milk more accessible and affordable for school-going pupils, Fresh Dairy has announced a countrywide discount on its flavored milk products.

This offer, valid from January 17 to February 28, 2025, aims to support the health and nutrition of students.

Joseph Awino, General Manager Sales at Fresh Dairy, stated, “We believe in using our dairy products to better the health and nutrition of school-going children, as they strive to study and learn.”

Nakazi Mariam, a mother of three school-going pupils, prefers Fresh Dairy’s flavored milk as a healthy on-the-go snack for her children. Fresh Dairy’s flavored milk comes in three flavors – Vanilla, Strawberry, and chocolate – and offers various packaging options.

Milk contains essential nutrients that support brain growth and development. It also improves Academic Performance, among others.
