“Please beware that this individual, Alex Kiyingi has been posing as a member of staff of State House and defrauding the unsuspecting public of money,” Nabusayi tweeted on Monday.

She added that; “Kiyingi ia not an employee of Satte Hosue and can not therefore purport to act for or on behalf of State House”.

When SoftPower News contacted the Police Spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan, SP Patrick Onyango, he confirmed that Kiyingi is indeed a suspect and wanted.

Onyango said that the suspected impostor is currently on the run, and appealed to the public to report him to Police should he be seen.

“The case was reported to us and we are handling it. He is a serial conman who goes around claiming that he is a State House official,” SP Onyango said on Monday.

“Currently, he is on the ran and whoever sees him should inform the nearest Police station or post. He is a wanted man,” the Spokesperson for Kampala metropolitan added.
