President Museveni has appointed Gloria Asio Omaswa, as his Principal Private Secretary, replacing Kenneth Omona, who has been appointed as the State Minister for Northern Uganda.
She studied law at Makerere University and attended the Law Development Centre before she entered the communication world eventually earning a Master’s in communication strategy at the Brand Centre, VCU, USA.
Omaswa holds over 20 years of experience in the communication industry across East Africa, Europe and North America.
She brings a strong understanding of communication strategy to the projects she handles.
She has a passion for understanding consumer behaviour both online and offline.
Omaswa ensures strong strategic thinking underpinning the direction of brands, ensuring the ultimate communication objectives.
