Police have arrested Innocent Ndegijimana, the Executive Director of Hope for Orphans & Vulnerable Children (HOVOC) for embezzlement.
HOVOC is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) located in Kisoro District which caters for orphans and vulnerable children.
Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) spokesperson Charles Twiine said the suspect allegedly embezzled Shs500m.
The suspect will be taken to Anti-Corruption Court Kololo today 16th March 2022.
