The Spinny & Friends BBQ Easter Sunday outing is set to take over Mezo Noir Lounge in Kololo, promising a unique blend of music, food, and premium tequila culture. Curated by DJ Spinny and backed by Don Julio, the event will feature a relaxed, social rhythm, building from mid-afternoon ease to a sunset-driven crescendo.
The experience focuses on collective energy, with a rotating lineup of DJs guiding the day’s sonic direction, from soulful selections to Afro-house and Amapiano. The BBQ element adds a lifestyle twist, with food, smoke, and aromas folding into the music to create a relaxed, yet elevated atmosphere.
“Spinny and Friends is about creating spaces where people genuinely connect,” says DJ Spinny. “This edition brings it back to basics: good music, good food, and good people, done in a way that feels elevated.”
Don Julio is curating a selection of cocktails and tequila, including Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, and 1942. “Spinny and Friends speaks to a generation that values authenticity and shared experiences,” says Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager Tequila and Rum East Africa. “This collaboration allows us to be part of moments that feel both premium and personal.”
