The Directorate of Traffic and Road safety has temporarily closed a section of the Kampala-Masaka Highway between Kyengera and Budo Junction.
According to the police, road users have been advised to use alternative routes.
For Motorists from Kampala to Masaka, police have advised them to use Nakawuka road -Budo junction or Kitemu to access Kampala-Masaka highway.
Mityana road- Buloba-Nsangi have been advised to access Kampala-Masaka Highway.
For motorists from Masaka to Kampala:-
-Kitemu or Budo- Nakawuka to access Kampala, they have been advised to use Nsangi -Buloba – Mutyaba road to access Kampala.
The police appealed to the public to exercise the utmost discipline and patience as the teams from Traffic Police & UNRA assess the damage.
