This was during a special event to celebrate Jumia Uganda’s milestone held at its Warehouse in Ntinda Industrial Area.

At the event, various vendors were awarded for their continued relationship with the brand in the last 11 years.

Among the most outstanding vendors was Calvin Muwanguzi who was awarded for amassing up to 4000 Jumia Food orders since its inception.

Ben Kuyoh, the Chief Marketing Officer at Jumia Uganda, announced the Jumia Anniversary partnership with dfcu bank dubbed “Sasuza dfcu Visa”

For 30 days, dfcu Bank customers will enjoy a discount of up to 10% on all purchases made using dfcu Visa Debit or Credit Cards.

The discount will be in addition to up to 60% in discounts on products that will be offered by Jumia.

The 2023 Jumia Anniversary Sale will run from June 5th to July 2nd, 2023 with dfcu as the Platinum Sponsor.

“We live giving discounts but dfcu saw it fit to offer even more discounts. On top of our 60% discount on some goods, when you pay with a dfcu Visa, you get an extra 10% discount,” Kuyoh said.

He also talked about the initiatives online users can participate in during the Jumia Anniversary month like; Spin the Wheel, the Jumia sound and the shopping dash.

“For the shopping dash, buy anything on JUMIA on Mondays between 12 pm and 3 pm in order to be eligible. You can also buy a COW on Jumia during the anniversary sale, every Monday between 5 pm and 7 pm,” he noted.
