Stanley Kisambira, who recorded an audio complaining about low pay of non-judicial officers in the judiciary and said that he could cause a tragic incident as a result of the stress he was living with, has been arrested.
The arrest was confirmed by Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson, Luke Owoyesigyire.
Stanley Kisambira is currently detained at the Central Police Station in Kampala.
However, Judiciary Spokesperson Jameson Karemani, acknowledged that drivers’ pay was inadequate but explained that allowances for all non-judicial staff including drivers on duty were enhanced to about Shs 1 million per month apart from Shs 235,000 salary.
