“H.E the President in exercise of his Constitutional mandate has appointed the following persons as RDC Secretariat Commissioners, Resident District Commissioners, Resident City Commissioners, Deputy Resident District Commissioners and Deputy Resident City Commissioners,” said Faruk Kirunda, the Deputy Presidential Press Secretary.

Prior to his appointment, Ssegawa has been serving as Mukono Municipality Councilor, a seat he won in the last general elections on an independent ticket.

Commenting on his appointment, Segawa thanked President Museveni for spotting him out of the many and giving him a chance to serve his country.

“I thank H.E for making me his Representative in Jinja South. I promise to serve my country diligently,” Ssegawa assured.
