Jamaican Dancehall King Beenie Man in Kampala for ‘The Big Show’

Anthony Moses Davis, better known by his stage name Beenie Man, is in Uganda for the “The Big Show” concert scheduled for Friday, November 11, 2022, at Lugogo Cricket Oval. 

He arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 4:00 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. He was received by Boy Entertainment.

At the Friday concert, Beenie Man will be live alongside Nigeria’s Oxlade, South Africa’s Focalistic, Mellow and Sleeazy.

Local acts will include songbirds Vinka, Azawi and Winnie Nwagi. 

The Jamaican Dancehall deejay returns to Uganda after 13 years.

The “King of the Dancehall” last performed in Kampala in 2009 at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds.

He is known for hit songs like “Dude”, “Romie”, “Who Am I”, “Girls Dem Sugar”, “Feel It Boy”, among others.
