Uganda’s favorite picnic-style music event, Roast and Rhyme, is back with its highly anticipated Soul on Strings Edition, happening next Sunday, November 3, 2024, at the scenic Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo.

Gates will open at 11 a.m. Music lovers and revelers are invited to arrive early, set up by the lake, and soak in the breezy, serene ambiance as they prepare for a day packed with live soulful performances, tantalizing roast sessions, and good vibes.

The 22nd edition of #RoastAndRhyme is headlined by the legendary Iryn Namubiru, whose powerful voice and captivating stage presence are bound to leave the audience in awe. Known for her timeless hits and soulful delivery, Iryn will bring her signature blend of emotional depth and energetic performance, creating a moment that fans have eagerly awaited since her last iconic show.

Maro

Adding to the unique mix is Maro, Uganda’s “RnB Kyabazinga,” whose Afro-soul style and smooth vocals will perfectly match the intimate, lakeside setting. Known for his feel-good vibes and relatable lyrics, Maro’s set promises to be both refreshing and heartfelt, giving fans a reason to sway along to his hit tracks.

Also gracing the stage is ZuliTums, a versatile talent whose blend of Afrobeat and R&B, paired with emotional storytelling, will deliver an unforgettable experience. His smooth, rich voice and reflective lyrics have made him one of Uganda’s most beloved Afro-soul artists, promising a set filled with both heart and groove.

Rounding out the lineup is rising star Anknown, whose fresh approach to Afropop has made him a fan favorite. With songs that explore themes of love and resilience, his vibrant energy and heartfelt performances will bring an uplifting and engaging vibe to the Soul on Strings experience.

Early bird tickets are priced at 70,000 UGX, with tickets at the gate available for 100,000 UGX. Tickets are available on the FlexiPay app or via mobile by dialing *291#.
