INTERVIEW: Nature Trammer Dreams of Starting Premier Dance Academy & Modelling Agency in Uganda

Nature Trammer is a renowned Ugandan model, dancer and social media influencer. She recently announced her entry into Dubai’s burgeoning real estate market, marking a significant shift from the runway to real estate.

Qn: What inspired you to pursue a career in modelling and dancing?

Trammer: From a young age, I was captivated by the artistry and grace of dancers on stage. Modelling allowed me to express myself through fashion and embrace my unique look. The combination of these creative outlets resonated deeply with me.

Qn: How do you integrate your Ugandan heritage into your art?

Trammer: My Ugandan roots are a profound source of inspiration. I infuse elements of our vibrant cultural dances, rhythms, and traditional attire into my performances and photoshoots. It’s a way to celebrate and share the rich tapestry of my heritage with global audiences.

Qn: What has been your most memorable performance or modelling experience?

Trammer: One highlight was performing a fusion of contemporary and Ugandan folk dance at the opening ceremony of an international cultural festival. The energy from the crowd was electrifying, and I felt an immense sense of pride in representing my country on such a prestigious stage.

Qn: How do you balance the demands of modelling and dancing careers?

Trammer: It’s a delicate balance, but proper time management and discipline are key. I dedicate specific hours for dance training, rehearsals, and modelling commitments. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle through proper nutrition and rest is also crucial to sustaining the rigours of both professions.

Qn: What advice would you give to aspiring models and dancers from Africa?

Trammer: Believe in yourself and your unique talents. Embrace your cultural roots as a source of strength and authenticity. Stay dedicated, work tirelessly on honing your craft, and seize every opportunity that comes your way. Perseverance and passion are essential for breaking through.

Qn: How do you handle criticism or setbacks in your career?

Trammer: I view constructive criticism as an opportunity for growth. I take the feedback, reflect on areas for improvement, and channel that energy into becoming better at my craft. Setbacks are inevitable, but I try to maintain a positive mindset and view them as temporary obstacles on the path to success.

Qn: What are your future goals and aspirations?

Trammer: My ultimate goal is to establish a premier dance academy and modelling agency in Uganda, nurturing and empowering the next generation of talent from my country. I also aspire to continue performing and modelling on prestigious global stages, serving as an ambassador for African art and culture.

Qn: How do you stay grounded and centred amid the glamour of your profession?

Trammer: I make it a point to regularly connect with my roots, spending time with family and friends back home in Uganda. Their love, support, and guidance keep me grounded and remind me of the values that shape my journey. Giving back to my community through charitable initiatives is also deeply fulfilling.

Qn: What message would you like to convey through your art?

Trammer: Through my performances and visual artistry, I aim to celebrate the richness of African culture, promote diversity and inclusivity in the arts, and inspire people to embrace their unique identities with pride and confidence. Art has the power to transcend boundaries and bring people together.

Qn: How do you handle the physical demands of your profession?

Trammer: Maintaining a rigorous training regimen is essential. I work closely with dance instructors, personal trainers, and nutritionists to optimize my physical conditioning, flexibility, and overall well-being. Proper rest, recovery, and injury prevention techniques are also crucial components of my routine.

Qn: What role do you think social media plays in your career?

Trammer: Social media has been a game-changer, allowing me to connect directly with fans, share glimpses of my work, and promote upcoming projects. It’s a powerful tool for building a personal brand, engaging with global audiences, and staying relevant in the ever-evolving entertainment landscape.
