I&M Bank (Uganda) has been recognized as the Most Innovative Digital Bank in Uganda and Best Private Bank in Uganda for the year 2024, by the Global Banking and Finance Review Awards.
The awards, which acknowledge outstanding financial institutions globally, highlighted I&M Bank’s commitment to enhancing customer experience through cutting-edge digital solutions and exceptional banking services.

The bank’s innovative efforts have led to the introduction of various digital products, including the recently launched ‘Express Go’ digital account, exclusively available on the I&M On-The-Go App. The account offers free bank-to-wallet transfers and redefines affordable, convenient, customer-focused banking.
I&M Bank has also introduced a 24/7 self-serve digital pod at their headquarters, allowing clients to self-serve at any time. Additionally, the bank upgraded its core banking system to Finacle, enhancing the efficiency of its services.
