Uganda’s para swimmer Husnah Kukundakwe won a second gold medal on Thursday becoming the country’s most decorated athlete at the Islamic Games in Konya, Turkey.
She has so far gathered a total of six medals in the same competition.
“Ladies and gentlemen meet Uganda’s most decorated athlete in the @issfsa games @HusnahKukundak1,” tweeted Uganda Olympic Committee.
According to UOC, Kukundakwe won two (2) Gold medals, three (3) Silver medals and one (1) Bronze medal at the 2021 games.

“Team Uganda is the leading African nations on the medals table at the 5th Islamic Games being held in Konya, Turkey,” said UOC.
Six were won by the Para Swimmer Kukundakwe while two were scooped by Athletes Abel Chebet and Allan Ngobi.
