Kampala, Uganda (November 5th, 2024) – A second successful edition of the Freixenet Old School RnB Brunch was held on November 3rd at the Fairway Hotel. The event, which is quickly becoming a staple on Kampala’s social calendar, delivered another experience filled with good music, great company, and flowing Freixenet.
Building on the momentum of the inaugural edition, the second RnB Brunch gathered over 600 revelers for a nostalgic journey around the Coco Pool Bar & Restaurant Area. The atmosphere was akin to a Sunday service as the crowds sang along in chorus to classic RnB, hip-hop, and soul tunes in a proper blast from the past.
There was no shortage of entertainers as the day’s performances featured a live band serenade session from the sensational Black Roots Academy of Soul and BlackRoots UNLIMITED and an impressive DJ lineup by Ssese Nation including DJ Bryan, DJ Ssese, DJ Noah Lubega, Selector Jay and Kenya’s DJ Incredible.
Freixenet once again provided the perfect accompaniment to the festivities. Celebrating 50 years of existence,the brand’s signature Cordon Negro is served in a variety of refreshing drinks served through the bottomless brunch experience.
