Sanyuka TV has officially unveiled a powerhouse duo for its flagship morning show Morning Xpress, announcing that popular media personality Hasifa Nabbanja, famously known as Haffy Powers, will co-host the show alongside the seasoned Adam Kungu.

The news, revealed today, has sent waves of excitement across Uganda’s media landscape, especially among Haffy’s devoted fans who have been eagerly anticipating her next chapter following her move to Next Media.

A celebrated journalist and entrepreneur, Haffy Powers is known for her infectious energy, bold style, and strong connection with audiences. She made her mark on television with standout performances on BBS Terefayina’s Kasukaali and Sumulula, building a loyal fan base drawn to her authenticity and vibrant on-screen persona.

Her arrival at Sanyuka TV comes after a highly discussed exit from BBS, and speculation about her next move had been mounting for weeks. Sanyuka TV added to the suspense with a teaser on X (formerly Twitter): “Everyone’s been asking, ‘What show is @iamhaffypowers doing on @sanyukatv?’ Well… it’s finally here! The big reveal drops this Monday — and trust us, you don’t want to miss it.”

The confirmation brings Haffy together with Adam Kungu, a respected host known for his sharp wit and engaging delivery. Together, they are expected to infuse Morning Xpress with renewed energy, laughter, and sharp commentary on current affairs, entertainment, and lifestyle trends.

“I’m thrilled to join the Sanyuka TV family and co-host Morning Xpress with Adam,” Haffy said. “This is an exciting new chapter, and I can’t wait to connect with our viewers every morning—bringing energy, inspiration, and a bit of fun to their day.”

Adam Kungu welcomed the news with enthusiasm, saying: “Haffy’s vibe is unmatched. I’m really looking forward to the chemistry we’ll bring to the show. It’s going to be a blast!”

The pairing has already sparked buzz on social media, with fans calling it “the duo we didn’t know we needed” and predicting the show will dominate morning viewership.

Haffy’s media journey began at Club Amnesia before moving into radio with Galaxy FM, eventually rising through the television ranks at BBS. Her signing with Next Media on April 15, 2025, signalled a major career leap, and her placement on Morning Xpress reflects Sanyuka TV’s confidence in her star power.

While the official premiere date for Haffy’s Morning Xpress debut hasn’t been announced, insiders suggest her first show could air as early as next week. With Haffy Powers and Adam Kungu leading the charge, Morning Xpress is set to deliver must-watch mornings filled with energy, relevance, and irresistible chemistry.
