Gulu female musician Jenneth Prischa and Pamela Peace yesterday held a successful musical concert in honour of all business women at Gulu main market.
“We want to thank all our mothers who have been with us and supported our music since we broke through in the music industry,” said Jenneth Prischa
She emphasized that, whereas a number of women have been part of their concerts in the various events venues around the region, unfortunately some are unable to make it thus the reason for the free musical extravaganza for all their fans at the main market.
The entire session started with a video shoot of a song they did in honour of Justin Obol Simple Man, a top traditional musician turned politician representing the people of Laroo division.
This was followed by a brief meet and greet moment with the women at the market. The artisted would then take to the stage for performances, with Pamela Peace as opening act.
Then came rib breaking comedy from comedian Okumu Reagan aka Ojur Kwon, Banana Joe, Okeng Born town and Jenneth Prischa.
The concert was climaxed by singer Obol Justine who perfomed some of his favourite hits including his latest ‘Ago Pi Bedo Labongo Kasitoma’ (which means there is no business without clientele), a song that highlights the current trend of prostitution in the region.
