Ambassador Rtd. Gen. Robert Rusoke, Uganda’s High Commission (Designate) to the Republic of Rwanda, has presented copies of his Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Rwanda, Hon. Dr. Vincent Biruta.
This happened on Friday, June 17 in the capital Kigali.
They discussed ways to deepen bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries as well as Rwanda’s readiness for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting is a biennial summit meeting of the de facto leaders from all Commonwealth nations.
The two expressed their desire and commitment to work together as brothers and sisters in strengthening historical cordial bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.
The High Commissioner expressed gratitude for the warm reception and he was exceedingly happy and commended the Republic of Rwanda for the high-level state of CHOGM preparations.
He wished the Minister success during CHOGM.
