UPDF Land Forces Commander Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba will tomorrow, Saturday, April 23, 2022, flag off a marathon to commemorate his 48th birthday.

According to senior journalist Andrew M. Mwenda who is part of the committee planning the celebrations, Muhoozi will officially flag off the #MKAt48 marathon from Kololo airstrip at 7am as the first event to mark his 48th Birthday.

“He will be accompanied by Generals Leopard Kyanda, Serunjogi Damulira, Don Nabaasa, Johnson Namanya and James Birungi,” Mwenda said on Thursday.

The marathon will climax with a kasiki (celebration before the main event) at Cricket Oval in Lugogo, Kampala.

“Once again there are NO political parties at #MKAt48 birthday party,” Muhoozi said.

He added: “There are no preferred colours. Come in any colour you want. Like the late Bob Marley sang ‘One Love’.”

The actual birthday will be celebrated on April 24, 2022 with a dinner held by his father President Museveni at State House.
