Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has paid another private visit to Rwandan President Paul Kagame.
The Special Presidential Advisor on Special Operations arrived in the capital Kigali on Saturday evening.
He was accompanied by Alexander Akandwanaho, Andrew Mwenda and Barnabas Bwaniaga.
“This evening, President Kagame met with General @mkainerugaba who is in Rwanda for a private visit,” said Rwanda Presidency in a tweet.
This is the third visit Gen Muhoozi is making to Rwanda.
Kagame himself was last in Uganda in April this year to attend the 48th birthday celebrations for Gen Muhoozi.
It was the first time since a dispute that resulted in the closure of the border.
Rwanda abruptly closed the border in February 2019 after it accused Uganda of allegedly abducting its citizens and supporting rebels.
The border was re-opened following the visit to Kigali early this year by Gen Muhoozi.
