Entebbe – The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Senior Presidential Adviser for Special Operations, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, held a meeting this afternoon with Her Excellency Lisa Chesney, UK High Commissioner to Uganda, at the Special Forces Command headquarters in Entebbe.
During the discussions, the two leaders reviewed a proposal to deploy UK military medical personnel at the UPDF National Referral Hospital, which is currently under consideration by the UK government. They also explored opportunities for UK support to Uganda’s UPDF training schools.

Both parties reaffirmed mutual respect and committed to maintaining high-level engagements to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
This meeting follows a previous engagement between General Kainerugaba and the UK High Commissioner in October 2025, highlighting the ongoing dialogue and strategic collaboration between Uganda and the United Kingdom.
