Her Excellency Doreen Ruth Amule on Friday, July 22, 2022, presented Letters which accredit her as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to the Republic of France.

H.E. Amule congratulated H.E. Emmanuel Macron upon his recent re-election as President of the Republic of France.

She extended the warm greetings of H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda to H.E. President Macron.

She welcomed the good bi-lateral relations between Uganda and France including through investments in the oil and gas sector, and noted that the two countries could cooperate in agriculture and animal husbandry which were strong sectors in France, and in education focused on the French language.

H.E. President Macron thanked H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the good bilateral relationship between Uganda and France.

He made a commitment to deepen further France’s relationship with Uganda.

He welcomed H.E. Amule, thanked her for her remarks and wished her an excellent stay in France.
