Fitur Expo: Uganda Showcases Tourism Potential to Global Audience

The Ugandan Embassy in Paris, in collaboration with the Uganda Tourism Board, Uganda Wildlife Authority, and six private tour companies, participated in the Fitur Expo in Madrid, Spain, from January 22-26, 2025.

A business-to-business breakfast meeting was convened with 30 Spanish tour operators, featuring presentations on tourism, coffee, and investment opportunities.

As one of the world’s largest international tourism trade fairs, FITUR Madrid attracts 150,000 global travel agents annually, providing a platform for industry professionals to network and showcase new tourism products.

The Embassy aims to promote Uganda as a premier tourist destination, highlighting its unique cultural heritage and natural attractions, while attracting potential investors and strengthening bilateral tourism partnerships with Spain and other countries.”
