Among these, was the State Minister in charge of Micro Finance, Hon. Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo, Hon. Moses Kabusu, the Kyamuswa County Member of Parliament, and Hon.Chemonges Sabira MP from kapchorwa.

In his remarks, Sheikh Mubaje thanked the Almighty Allah for enabling Muslims the world over to resume the holy Pilgrimage to the Holy sanctuary-Kaaba in Makkah after the global shutdown triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, which costed many lives.

He thanked the Saudi Gov’t for putting in place several measures including health precautions to ease the Haj rituals as pilgrims come in to fulfill this lifetime ritual.

Sheikh Mubaje beseeched the Almighty Allah to eliminate coronavirus from the face of the world to enable more Muslims to perform this important ritual and allow the Saudi authorities to remove age restrictions, which have now denied people about 65 years of age to perform haji because of their vulnerability to the disease.

He also prayed for peace to prevail in the world.

Sheikh Mubaje was accompanied by Haj Sulaiman Musana Kawanguzi and Sheikh Imran Ssali, who coordinated with the Airport authorities in handling the travel of the pilgrims.
