Titus Kajura, a senior economist at the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development is dead.
Kajura succumbed to skin cancer while undergoing treatment in the US on Thursday.
His body is expected to be flown back home today, Monday, June 6, 2022.
Ramathan Ggoobi, Uganda’s Secretary to the Treasury, said the ministry was devastated by the passing of the late.
“We, the @mofpedU family, are devastated by Titus’s passing,” he tweeted over the weekend.
According to Ggoobi, the late Kajura’s determination to fight this terrible illness was remarkable.
“Our condolences go to his closest family and friends at difficult time. Rest in peace, Titus.”
