FIFA, CAF appoint officials to observe FUFA 2017 polls

Honorary Chairman of CECAFA Mr. Leodegar Tenga and CAF Executive Committee Member Mr. Suleiman Hassan Waberi will represent FIFA and CAF respectively at the 93rd FUFA Ordinary General Assembly in Masindi, Kitara Region.

Mr. Tenga is also the former President of Tanzania Football Federation.

The Assembly is set for this Saturday 5th August at Kabalega Resort Hotel.

It is a requirement by both CAF and FIFA to have representatives from both bodies to attend Elections of their Member Associations.

Both officials will play the Observer’s role.

The Djiboutian FA President and Mr. Leodegar Tenga will jet in on Friday for the FUFA Polls due on Saturday.

The FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo is looking forward to receiving both high profile football officials as deliberations on Ugandan football are presented on the floor by the Delegates in Masindi, confirmed FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein.

Eng. Magogo is seeking a second term in office having registered notable success in his maiden 4 year reign of administration that started in 2013.
