Johannesburg, South Africa — Equity Bank Uganda is set to bring its services closer to the Ugandan diaspora in South Africa during the upcoming 3rd COUSA Convention, taking place from 1st to 3rd August 2025 at the COUSA Head Office, 471 WF Nkomo Street, Johannesburg.

Under the campaign theme “We’re Bringing Banking Closer to You”, the Bank aims to deepen its engagement with Ugandans living abroad by offering personalized financial support, diaspora banking solutions, and investment advisory services during the event.

“Our commitment is to empower Ugandans everywhere with seamless access to banking services,” said a representative from Equity Bank Uganda. “Whether you’re sending money home, looking to invest, or simply need financial advice, we are here to serve you.”

Equity Bank Uganda has dedicated a special diaspora support email — Ugandans.Abroad@equitybank.co.ug — to ensure continuous communication with Ugandans abroad, even beyond the COUSA Convention.

This is in line with the bank’s broader strategy to serve the financial needs of Ugandans globally through secure, digital, and personalized services.

The COUSA Convention presents a valuable platform for networking, community engagement, and showcasing financial tools tailored for the diaspora — and Equity Bank Uganda is making sure no Ugandan is left behind.
