London, UK  — Equity Bank Uganda has announced its partnership with UG To UK HealthCare Services Limited for the much-anticipated UG To UK Nurses Fundraising Dinner, taking place on June 18, 2025, at 1 Wimpole Street, the home of the Royal Society of Medicine in London.

This special event is dedicated to celebrating and supporting Ugandan medical workers as they embark on new professional journeys in the UK. It is a powerful moment of recognition, connection, and opportunity for the Ugandan diaspora.

Supporting Those Who Serve

Under the banner “While You Serve Abroad, Your Heart Is Always Home,” the dinner aims to bring together nurses, healthcare professionals, and supporters from the Ugandan community to network and explore solutions for saving, investing, and staying connected to Uganda.

“We’re excited to stand beside our healthcare heroes as they take on new roles in the UK,” said a representative from Equity Bank Uganda. “Our presence here shows our commitment to walking with them every step of the way—whether it’s opening a diaspora account, sending money to loved ones, or investing for a brighter future back home.”

Diaspora-Focused Financial Solutions

During the event, Equity Bank Uganda’s team—already on the ground in London—will showcase a suite of tailored financial services for Ugandan nurses abroad. Attendees can: open diaspora accounts, send money home safely and affordably, save and invest in Uganda and explore opportunities for property ownership.

With a warm and inviting atmosphere set against the iconic Tower Bridge skyline, the evening promises meaningful engagement, heartfelt celebration, and long-term impact for those who have answered the call to serve.
