As Comrades,
Our splendor is gone
Darkness has befallen us
We are burdened by sadness
Our hearts are punctured
It is difficult to comprehend that Jacob is no more
Comrade Jacob was a gracious person, he was full of energy and wisdom
He offered his truthful guidance freely without any reservation
He was a patriotic cadre who loved our President, Party and above all Uganda
Jacob Oulanyah lived a life for others and a life worthy of great honor
A life lived in love will never be a life lived in vain
To those he has left behind, let us remain hopeful and positive
For life can get out of proportion when you are too close
Fare thee well, our beloved Cadre and Comrade!
