Ecobank Uganda has held a Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Consultative Breakfast Workshop, bringing together over 80 key SME customers and Ecobank staff members. The event provided a valuable platform for dialogue, networking, and exploring new growth opportunities.
The workshop highlighted Ecobank’s innovative products and services, including Ellevate, its women empowerment program, and the Ecobank Single Market Trade Hub, a platform designed to facilitate cross-border trade across Africa’s single market.
Uganda’s SME sector plays a vital role in the country’s economy, accounting for 80% of GDP and 90% of the private sector. Ecobank noted that it recognizes the importance of guiding and supporting SMEs through initiatives like this workshop.
The interactive session allowed attendees to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and explore new growth opportunities.
Participants gained valuable insights into how Ecobank’s solutions can help overcome business challenges and accelerate growth.
