Rwashamaire, Ntungamo — The vibrant sounds of East Africa’s biggest music stars filled the air at the Africa Coffee Park in Ntungamo as the much-anticipated Coffee Marathon Concert took centre stage on Saturday night.

Headlining the event were Uganda’s own Bebe Cool, Tanzanian Bongo Flava sensation Diamond Platnumz, and Rwanda’s soulful star The Ben, delivering an unforgettable performance that captivated thousands of fans.

Diamond Platnumz made a grand entrance, arriving in style aboard a Bar Aviation helicopter that touched down right at the venue, immediately impressing with the scale and organisation of the event.

“When I came in, I was amazed by the level of organisation. Everything is on point. I saw the stage while landing, and the entire venue set-up is a pleasant surprise. I did not expect it,” the Tanzanian superstar shared.

He praised Uganda’s dedication, adding, “This should make not just Uganda but the whole of East Africa proud. This tells the region how serious you are as a country.”

The concert celebrated not only music but also the powerful story of coffee in Uganda.

Before the show, Bebe Cool and Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa toured the Inspire Africa Coffee Park near Lake Nyabihoko. Guided by Inspire Africa Group CEO Nelson Tugume, they explored sprawling coffee plantations and modern processing facilities — a testament to the region’s ambitions to turn coffee into a major economic driver.

Bebe Cool reflected on the experience, highlighting how the initiative combines agriculture, enterprise, and creativity to shape futures and economies.

Photos and video highlights showed Diamond Platnumz and Deputy Speaker Tayebwa planting a coffee tree at the park, symbolising growth and partnership, while the lively beats of Bebe Cool and The Ben carried the night forward.

Performances from regional talents like Eddy Kenzo, Western Uganda’s Truth256 and TPaul, alongside the powerhouse lineup of Bebe Cool, Diamond Platnumz, and The Ben, electrified the crowd, bringing culture, fun, and endurance together in one spectacular night.

As the after-party roared to life, fans revelled in the energy and unity of East African music, celebrating not only the Coffee Marathon’s athletic feats but the cultural and economic promise brewing in Ntungamo.

The Coffee Marathon Concert proved more than just a show — it was a celebration of community, regional pride, and the shared dream to make Uganda’s coffee heritage a global story.
