The Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU) is set to host the highly anticipated National Public Relations Symposium 2025 on Friday, 25th July 2025, at Imperial Royale Hotel, Kampala under the timely theme: “Personal Branding for PR Professionals: Positioning for Leadership.”
This year’s symposium will bring together Uganda’s leading voices in media and public relations for what is being billed as a masterclass on personal branding — a critical conversation in an era where reputation and visibility shape professional success.
Mildred Tuhaise, renowned show host and news anchor at NBS TV, will moderate the high-powered panel, featuring celebrated media personalities and communication experts.
They include: Crystal Newman — Uganda’s leading media personality and brand influencer; Flavia Tumusiime — Head of Broadcast at Nation Media Group Uganda and Lyn Tukei — Public Relations Manager, Capital Markets Authority.
According to PRAU, this forum is designed to equip communication professionals with insights and practical strategies to enhance their personal brands, positioning them for leadership roles within and beyond the PR industry.
Attendees can expect to network with industry leaders, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and gain fresh perspectives on navigating the evolving media and communications landscape.
The event is powered by an impressive lineup of partners including SoftPower News, NRO, DPF, CEO Magazine, UNDO, ECMA, Vision Group, UBC, KCA, Affinity, Uganda Breweries, Citi, and PML Daily.
