Col Deo Akiiki Appointed Military Assistant to CDF Gen Muhoozi

Colonel Deo Akiiki has been appointed as the Military Assistant to the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Prior to this new role, Col. Akiiki served as the Deputy Defence Spokesperson for the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF), where he played a crucial role in military communications and public relations.

His appointment as Military Assistant is seen as a strategic move to enhance operations within the office of the CDF.

With extensive experience in public affairs and military operations, Col. Akiiki is expected to provide critical support in advisory and operational matters.
