December in Uganda is a season of warmth and togetherness. Families begin journeys back to their villages, churches resonate with Christmas carols, and communities prepare for days filled with shared meals, laughter, reunions, and gratitude. For many, Christmas is a treasured moment of connection and generosity.

Across the country, the festive mood is expressed through simple but meaningful gestures: neighbours exchanging food, friends reuniting after long months apart, and homes opening to welcome loved ones. It is a season that reminds Ugandans of the joy found in community and companionship.

About the Caravan

It is within this cherished tradition that Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) today officially launches its annual “Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan,” kicking off on 3 December 2025.

The caravan will travel across the country throughout the festive season, delivering music, entertainment, ice-cold refreshments, and community celebrations to towns and neighbourhoods nationwide. Each stop is designed to reflect the simple joys that define a Ugandan Christmas.

What to Expect

Through the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan, CCBU is bringing the Christmas experience directly to the people—beyond malls, stadiums, and event venues. The aim is to create moments of real magic where families, friends, and neighbours can pause, celebrate together, and enjoy the spirit of the season.

Speaking at the launch, Emmy Hashakimana, Managing Director of CCBU, said the initiative is rooted in Coca-Cola’s tradition of inspiring shared moments: “Christmas is a special time for Ugandans. It is about being together, being thankful, and sharing moments that matter. With the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan, we will be part of those real magic moments by bringing joy and refreshment closer to our consumers wherever they are.”

At every caravan stop, communities can expect live local performances, interactive activities, family-friendly games, and festive experiences. The caravan will also offer instant giveaways—including food items such as matooke and live chicken, along with branded merchandise like T-shirts—to deepen engagement and spread cheer.

Kirunda Magoola, Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability Lead at CCBU, said the campaign is a gesture of gratitude: “Our consumers have walked with us throughout the year, and this season gives us the chance to celebrate with them. The Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan is our way of saying thank you and sharing in the joy of the festive season together.”

Why the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan Matters

As it moves across Uganda, the caravan will activate key towns with themed festive setups, product engagements, giveaways, and shared experiences aimed at creating lasting memories for both young and old.

Beyond entertainment, the initiative reinforces the spirit of unity and togetherness that defines the season, while contributing to the vibrancy and economic activity that accompany Christmas celebrations.

As Uganda enters the heart of the festive period, CCBU is inviting families, friends, and entire communities to welcome the Coca-Cola Christmas Caravan—and enjoy a Christmas filled with warmth, connection, and simple, happy moments rooted in Coca-Cola’s Real Magic experience.
