Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has rewarded 54 top performing distributors with fully kitted Tuk Tuk delivery vehicles as part of its “Tuk-Tuk Peak Challenge”.

The initiative recognised distributors who achieved their peak sales targets, enabling them to strengthen last mile delivery. The Tuk-Tuks provide distributors with a practical tool of trade to reach their customers more efficiently and cover more outlets, while also improving their service to customers. This helps to ensure that a cold drink is always within reach.

Ellis Muhimbise, the Sales Director at CCBU, a company within the Coca Cola Beverages Africa group, handed over the Tuk-Tuks.

“For Coca Cola Beverages Africa, partnering with customers for growth means creating shared value beyond the product,” said Emmy Hashakimana, General Manager of CCBU.

“By rewarding strong execution and investing in our distributors’ capacity, we enable them to grow their businesses while improving availability for consumers.”

The Tuk Tuk Challenge forms part of CCBU’s broader commitment to customer centric execution, dependable service and building strong, long term distributor partnerships across Uganda.

“It is about customer-centric execution through understanding the unique needs of different market segments and ensuring product availability at the right time, place, and price, leveraging data and analytics to anticipate customer demand and preferences,” said Hashakimana.

“We aim to provide best-in-class service to retail partners and help customers to grow their businesses through insights, promotions, and tailored support.”
